Google, which is reportedly planning to introduce its new flagship Pixel 8 series along with Android 14 later this year, is also expected to introduce the next-generation smartwatch Pixel Watch 2. According to a report by Android Authority, the Pixel 2 smartwatch will come with a series of new enhancements, and this time will be available in India as well. Here’s what you can expect from the Pixel Watch 2 smartwatch.

Pixel Watch 2 Specs:

The Pixel Watch 2 is expected to get a 1.2-inch 384 x 384 round OLED screen, which will make it much identical to its predecessor. Under the body, the Pixel Watch 2 is said to get power from the Qualcomm Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 processor with a 1.7GHz core and a modern Adreno 702 GPU. The smartwatch is also said to get a bigger 306mAh battery capacity.

Google's decision to add a custom coprocessor powered by an NXP chip rather than the W5 Plus model for the future Pixel Watch 2 seems useful. In addition, UWB technology will be a part of the smartwatch, providing opportunities for accurate device monitoring and the future addition of Digital Car Key capability.

The upcoming Pixel Watch 2 is said to run on the latest Wear OS 4 which is based on the Android 13. The California-based technology company is also said to offer a smoother, interruption-free software upgrade.

Pixel Watch 2 India Availability:
