Google Play Store, which is a hub for several various applications for Android users, is now combining Shorts with The Play Report, which will inform consumers about the latest and greatest Android applications, including hidden valuable applications that many users are unaware of. To improve the user experience, Google has included a raft of new features such as monthly editorial selections, new releases, and a kid-friendly programme for teacher-approved app selection.

Google has announced that it will be introducing a new video series dubbed ‘The Play Report’ for users to let them find applications, games and other things on the Play Store. It will feature top picks, and hidden gems and will be seen at the top of the homepage much like YouTube Shorts. The video is currently visible to select users in the United States. It will be curated by the editorial team.

According to the report, each series would include many episodes that will be presented by the creators. Please keep in mind that only announcement videos are now available, and the first few videos will be uploaded in the next few weeks. Those who are a part of the pilot will see the advertising automobiles at the top of the Play Store and will be able to watch the videos on YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

With this new feature, the company aims to save the time of the users by letting them know useful information about the applications, games and more. Additionally, the company also aims to make the app discovery more entertaining and easy.
