GTA 6 Trailer 2 Release Timeline: Rockstar Games released the first trailer of its upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6 in December 2023. The 90-second clip clamped record after record in terms of viewership and engagement on social media platforms. As the dust around the first reveal is now resting down, fan accounts on X have started speculating the release timeline of the possible next trailer of GTA 6.
For context, the first trailer of the game reached 100 million views within 48 hours. Continuing the hype, X (formerly Twitter) account of GTA 6 Countdown recently claimed the next trailer announcement of the game may take place in May 2024. It added that the speculations could materialise before the final quarter earnings call of Take-Two Interactive.
During the conference, the game developer will likely report its results for the financial year 2024 and may reveal plans for FY 2025. However, do note the game developer has not confirmed anything about the next trailer release via official channels. Hence, take the details from the X account with a pinch of salt.

Further, @GTAVI_Countdown added that the speculated announcement in May may not "necessarily" be a trailer reveal. The hints could instead be around a more precise release timeline, pre-order details or any other form of media, such as images or new posters.

GTA 6 Release Date Somewhere In 2025
The game developer confirmed in the trailer video clip that the game will debut in 2025. IGN reported that the game will arrive on PlayStation5 and Xbox Series X|S, and a PC iteration may follow a year after the release. Meanwhile, it is confirmed that GTA 6 will feature a female character next to a male counterpart this time. Lucia, who will have a track record of conviction, and her partner will commit crimes in the city.
