After introducing the Crest series in India, the smartphone maker HMD is all set to introduce the device next month. The company took to X and announced the HMD Barbie flip phone. The smartphone was first announced at the MWC event and will get the Barbie-themed Pink colour. The device can be part of a company's product strategy.

HMD Barbie Flip phone is all set to make its debut on August 28. However, the brand has not announced the key specifications, features and other details about the upcoming phone. As per the teaser, the device will get a pink colour.

The device is believed to run either S20+ or KaiOS. The device will be developed in collaboration with toy manufacturer Mattel.

The phone manufacturer has not disclosed any plans to release the phone in India, despite the fact that Nokia enjoys strong demand in the country. However, the source says that HMD intends to release a variety of phones in the Indian market in the near future.

According to the report, the smartphone would not be a flagship item and will cater to budget-conscious users. The device may not have an external display. The device is expected to have a display and a keypad inside.
