Honor Magic V2 foldable phone will be available globally after a China release in July. The device was showcased at IFA 2023 and is the third generation model in the foldable segment from the Chinese smartphone maker.

The smartphone has an unbelievable thickness of 4.7mm when unfolded and 9.9mm once folded. It comes with a titanium hinge for durability and weighs 231g. Here are the specifications and availability details of V2 to give you a quick glimpse.

Honor Magic V2 Specifications

Speaking of the display, a 7.92-inch OLED LTPO 120Hz inner and 6.43-inch OLED 120Hz outer LTPO screen is there on the phone that has a peak brightness of up to 2500 nits and 3840Hz PWM Dimming. Both panels come with a 10-bit screen with a colour reproduction capacity of over 1 billion colours.

For performance, the phone gets an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU and Adreno 740 GPU. It has an Honor C1 RF chip. It comes with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage (V2 Ultimate). As for the software, the phone runs on Android 13 on top of MagicOS 7.2.

The Honor Magic V2 sports a 5000mAh battery with support for 66W charging. Moving to the optics, the phone has a 50MP OIS primary, 50MP ultrawide and 20MP telephoto lens. On the front, the phone has a 16MP selfie shooter on both screens. As for connectivity, the phone has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, IR control, OTG support, NFC and a Type-C port.

Honor Magic V2 Availability

The handset will be available via sale in Europe and several other markets in Q1 2024, according to IANS. Honor has not revealed the price of the phone yet. However, it may launch at a price tag of over $2,000. It is available in four colour options: Purple, Gold, Black and Black (PU) Edition.

Once on sale, the phone will act as a direct competition to popular names like the Google Pixel Fold and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5. OnePlus Open will likely arrive in the foldable market space this year itself.
