The Honor X80 is said to be in the works as the sequel to the Honor X70, new leaks on a Chinese website suggest. Although Honor has not officially announced the new phone, early reports reveal that the smartphone will sport a gigantic 10,000mAh battery capacity, thereby giving some of the best-performing phones a run for their money. The device is expected to launch as an entry-level smartphone with a Snapdragon SoC and a 6.8-inch large display screen.
Honor X80 Specifications (Leaked)
According to a popular Chinese tipster, Digital Chat Station, the company, Honour, is working on an entry-level smartphone with a 10,000 mAh battery. The unit has a 6.8-inch LTPS screen that brings a 1.5K resolution and supports rounded corners to achieve a high-end look for its budget category.

On the hardware side, it is rumoured that Honor X80 will be a Snapdragon 7 series SoC, which would offer both performance and battery efficiency — absolutely crucial for multitasking, playing games and power-hungry applications.
The leak has not directly mentioned the device but comments on the post indicate that it is going to be the Honor X80.
Battery and Charging Details
Adding weight to these claims, Gizmochina states that a fresh Honor battery has passed through China’s 3C certification and is thought to be designed for the unannounced Honor X80. The battery's rated capacity is listed as 9,755 mAh, but it can easily exceed 10,000 mAh typical capacity.
If this is accurate, that would see the Honor X80 join very few mainstream handsets with a five-figure mAh capacity, so it could offer multiple days of life from one charge. The leak further corroborates the rumour that Honor is going all out in terms of durability and sustained performance with its next budget phone.
Honor Power 2 Also in the Works
Apart from the X80, Honor is also said to be working on another Power 2 phone that will launch with a 10,000 mAh battery. But Power 2 is rumoured to come with a MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset, which suggests that it’s catered to a different set of audiences or has lower performance than the X80.

The X70 came with a 50MP main sensor system supported by AI and powered by an 8MP front camera, which could get you detailing as high as IP66/68/69 dust- or water-resistance ratings — unusual with its price tag.
