huawei band 9 smart watch Price and Specifications: The Huawei Band 9 has been officially announced in India. It is the successor to its previous version Huawei Band 8, which made its debut in July 2024, and has appeared silently on major e-commerce platforms. The smart wearable sports a 2.5D AMOLED display which also supports an Always-On-Display (AOD).

For the fitness freak in you, it has sleep, stress, blood oxygen level and heart rate trackers. It also comes with a swimming mode that supports tracking of several metrics such as strokes, laps and performance.

Pricing in India

The pricing in India starts at Rs 3,999, however, this is a "special price" and the actual MRP stands at Rs 5,999. The smart band will be available for purchase in the market from January 17 on Flipkart and will come in four colour options- Black, Pink, White and Yellow.

Key Specifications

The smart wearable comes equipped with a 1.47-inch AMOLED with a touch-support screen and has a resolution of 194 x 368 pixels and 282 ppi pixel density. It shares compatibility with Android as well as iOS products and utilizes Bluetooth 5.0. The smart band features a physical button on the right edge, with a strap made of fluoroelastomer. It is water-resistant up to 50 meters.

 It comes loaded with sensors like the accelerometer, gyroscope, and an optical heart rate sensor, which will enable the user to keep track of heart rate, SpO2, respiration rate and even help in tracking abnormal breathing.

It also utilizes Huawei's proprietary TrueSleep tech for tracking sleep cycles. Furthermore, to monitor heart rate irregularities it has the Pulse Wave Arrhythmia Analysis which provides information about heart rhythm. Huawei asserts that its new multi-channel module and smart fusion algorithm enhance heart rate tracking accuracy.

The Huawei Band 9 can support over 100 workout modes including the swimming mode which will help in tracking metrics such as laps, performance and strokes. Huawei has claimed that the watch can last up to 14 days on a single charge, and 3 days when AOD is turned on, and in just 45 minutes the device can be charged completely.
