Huawei plans to add another premium smartwatch model, Huawei Watch Ultimate 2, to their premium smartwatch line-up on September 19 alongside their Watch GT 6 series release. It will replace its predecessor from March 2023 - which saw upgraded design, larger battery capacity and enhanced durability features - and is set for debut.

Huawei plans to add another premium smartwatch model, Huawei Watch Ultimate 2, to their premium smartwatch lineup on September 19. The watch may be unveiled alongside Watch GT 6 series models and is anticipated to feature upgrades such as upgraded design, larger battery capacity and durability features over its predecessor introduced back in March 2023.

- The back panel appears to feature a glass casing for housing various health and fitness sensors.

- The dial measures 48.5mm in diameter, making it suitable for users who prefer larger wristwear.

Huawei's smartwatch should feature an AMOLED display with adaptive refresh rates to maximize battery efficiency, similar to its predecessor model. Details regarding resolution or brightness have yet to be announced; it could opt for the 1.5-inch display size proven effective by its predecessor device.

Battery and Efficiency Upgrades

Upgrades in Battery Technology One of the biggest upgrades may come in terms of battery technology. According to reports, Huawei plans on equipping both their Watch GT 6 lineup and Ultimate 2 with “high-silicon stacked batteries.”

- This new design could offer up to 37% larger battery capacity compared to existing models.

- The Huawei Watch GT 6 is said to provide up to 21 days of backup in power-saving mode, so the Watch Ultimate 2 could offer even better endurance given its larger form factor.

- Users can expect multi-day battery life with support for fast charging.

Features and Health Tracking

While specific details about health and fitness features have not leaked yet, Huawei is likely to retain:

- Heart rate monitoring

- SpO₂ tracking

- Sleep and stress tracking

- Outdoor sports modes with GPS

- Diving-grade durability was at the core of what made the Watch Ultimate so remarkable; it featured 100-meter water resistance and expedition-ready capabilities

These could get better with sensor accuracy and software features enabled by HarmonyOS.

Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 Price (Expected)

Price (Expected) Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 Price is anticipated to carry a higher price tag compared to its predecessor. When first released in March 2023 at CNY 5,999 (roughly equivalent to Rs. 74,300) across China, Europe and UK; premium build materials may push its global cost over Rs. 75,000.

Launch Timeline

Huawei will introduce both their Watch Ultimate 2 and GT 6 series on September 19, 2025. While the GT 6 will focus on long-lasting endurance, Huawei plans to introduce both of their smartwatch series for premium buyers who seek durable designs with premium features in their smartwatches.
