This highly-debated accessory is - WHOOP and is a product of Will Ahmed's US-based tech firm. The device does not have a screen to interact with. The health data is entirely accessible in the app.

According to the company, "studying human performance" is their ultimate goal. The strap offers multiple sensors to monitor the data from a wearer's body. It needs linking to an app to function smoothly and deliver insights on recovery tracking, sleep monitoring, heart rate, body temperature and more.

WHOOP also offers a Strain Coach to recommend training levels. The IP68-rated accessory has an Onyx SuperKnit band and a battery which can survive up to five days. As per the report, the company was the first to bring a subscription model for health-tracking wearables. The current annual subscription costs $239 (about Rs 19,800 after price conversion). WHOOP app's two-year plan costs $399 (roughly Rs 33,200).
