Independence Day 2024 Stickers and GIFs: India is all set to celebrate the 78th Independence Day on August 15 this year. On this occasion, online users will resort to sharing wishes across social media platforms. On WhatsApp, stickers can be an interactive and personalised medium for sharing greetings. Users can resort to downloading stickers from a third-party app or using WhatsApp's in-house options.

Here is a how-to guide to help you send WhatsApp stickers on August 15 to wish people Happy Independence Day 2024.

How to Send Independence Day Stickers On WhatsApp?

Step 1: Head to the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and download a sticker app (we used 'Stickify: Stickers for WhatsApp' for this tutorial)

Step 2: Configure the app and tap on the search icon

Step 3: Search keywords like 'Independence Day', 'Independence Day 2024', 'Happy Independence Day', 'Independence Day Wishes' and more

Step 4: Press the 'Add' button next to a sticker pack to add it to WhatsApp

In case you wish to download only one sticker, tap on the sticker, enter the required details and tap 'Add to WhatsApp'

Step 5: Now head to WhatsApp and tap the emoji icon in the message bar in an individual chat

Step 6: Head to the stickers tab and locate the newly downloaded stickers

Step 7: Tap the sticker to send wishes to a WhatsApp user

You can also use the app to make custom stickers. To get started, press the '+' icon

Independence Day 2024: Send Animated Stickers, GIFs From WhatsApp

If you do not want to download a third-party app, you can send stickers using WhatsApp's keyboard. Tap the emoji icon next to the message bar and head to the 'stickers' tab. Tap the search and look for 'Indian Independence Day 2024' stickers. You can choose from a range of animated options or choose the make a new personalised sticker using the 'Create' option.

Moreover, you can also try sending stickers using Gboard, the default keyboard on a range of Android smartphones. You can head to 'stickers' tab and enter the keyword to see the available options. Meanwhile, to send GIFs, you can choose the GIF section after tapping the emoji icon in the message bar on WhatsApp or the GIF section in Gboard to send GIF wishes to contacts.
