What IS A Dual Inverter AC?

What sets these air conditioners apart is the fact that dual inverter ACs use a twin rotary compressor which comprises two compression chambers, which aids in providing faster cooling, is more energy efficient and functions quietly compared to your normal inverter AC. The AC can also adjust its speed and RPM according to specific cooling needs, and this variable in speeds makes it more efficient as well.

What's the difference?

So what really sets a dual inverter AC apart from a regular one? It mainly comes down to how the compressor behaves.

In a typical non-inverter AC, the compressor keeps switching on and off. As soon as your room reaches the desired temperature, it will shut off and then start again as things start heating up. This whole cycle of shutting off and then starting again is not only uneven in terms of cooling, it also ends up consuming more and more electricity.

With dual inverter air conditioners, this is done in a completely different manner. The compressor will continue running, and its speed will be determined in accordance with the room’s temperature. This will provide you with a consistent cooling experience without any interruptions.

There is also a mechanical advantage in this case. With dual rotary technology, the load is balanced and does not have to be borne by one rotor itself as is the case in normal compressors. This makes it work in a more efficient manner, especially in extreme weather.
