iOS 19 Update: Apple's iOS update created a lot of buzz last year with its release. This update brought some major updates like the Apple Intelligence, and new customization features, but still not many updates were there for the iOS 18 users and the company is still rolling them out gradually after testing them.

Now as Apple perfects the iOS 18 and introduces new features in it, word is on the street that it is also preparing for a brand new iOS 19. It is expected that Apple will drop the new OS in its annual developers conference WWDC 2025. This one promises to offer much more capable AI features than before.

When Can You Expect It?

If Apple follows its conventional trend the company might drop the latest operating system for iPhone, iPad and Mac at the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025 and this Apple event usually takes place in June. This event will put some light on new features, changes and upgrades of the upcoming iOS 19.

After unveiling the features of iOS 19 at WWDC 2025, Apple will release a beta version for developers and testers. Following the testing phase, iOS 19 will officially launch in September alongside the iPhone 17 series. Reports suggest that the features will be introduced gradually within iOS 19.

Possible New Features You Might Get

Currently, there is no official information out there about the iOS 19 update. But according to reports, there might be some new changes to the iPhone's camera app. If we are going to believe in rumours then the company might be working on a new UI, which might look like the VisionOS.

Additionally, iOS 19’s Camera app may feature a translucent (semi-transparent) menu, making camera controls more intuitive than before. Photo and video categories might also be included, allowing users to access different settings more easily.

As per reports and rumours, Siri might be getting a new makeover as well. The possible usage of the Large Language Model (LLM) is expected to make Siri more intuitive and smart. For this to happen Siri might be integrated with OpenAI's ChatGPT. This feature was initially expected to be included in Siri with the iOS 18.4 update. However, it may now be introduced with iOS 19 instead.
