APPLE iPhone 13, the last generation flagship smartphone which came up with the new generation chipset and a series of camera upgrades, has worked in favour of the Cupertino-based technology company in getting a spot in the best-selling smartphone list.
Reports citing recent market research mention that eight of Apple's smartphone models made it to the list of top 10 best-selling smartphones, with the iPhone 13 being awarded the first position in the chart. The second on the list is the top-end iPhone 13 Pro Max, and the third is the iPhone 14 Pro Max. The chart also includes iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 12, iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone SE (2022).
The iPhone 13 which gets the last generation of Apple's A15 Bionic chip has recorded an overall sale of 28 percent (of the total iPhone sales). This could be because of the massive price cuts and discounts offered on the model after the company launched iPhone 14 series. The device became the best-selling model in China, France, Germany, the US, and the UK.
Meanwhile, the Apple iPhone 12 secured the sixth position and the all-new iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro got the seventh and eighth positions. The mid-range iPhone SE (2022) gets the ninth spot.
Speaking of the non-Apple headsets made to the top 10 best-selling smartphone list are manufactured by the South Korean technology company Samsung. The report suggests that two of the Samsung entry-level A series made it to the list of the top 10. Samsung's Galaxy A13 gets the fourth position. The entry-level Samsung Galaxy A03 secured the tenth position.
With this, Apple has become the only brand to get eight out of ten phones in the top-selling list with the iPhone 13 as the best seller.
