After a debut at the 'Wonderlust' event on September 12, the iPhone 15 series from Apple was available for the first time on Apple's official and partner channels on Friday. And just on day one of availability, the demand has surpassed the supplies for the new Pro models, leading to a waitlist of around three weeks for buyers.
FE Tech Bytes, citing retailers, reported that customers who pre-booked the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will likely get deliveries in the first week of next month. And the ones who ordered the phone yesterday will receive deliveries of the product probably in the second half of October.

The company introduced the new iPhones in India on the same day as the global availability, and the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus have been made in India. iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max start from Rs 1,34,900 and 1,59,900 respectively. Financial Express added that the push in offline channels is also because of negligible discounts on the models. This leaves no significant incentive for buyers to purchase the device online.
FE, citing several retailers across mobile stores, reported the pre-bookings for the new phones have witnessed a massive uptick compared to last year. This change can be attributed to a host of upgrades the company introduced with the new iPhones. Apple iPhone 15 and 15 Plus sports Dynamic Island, a 48MP camera and a USB-C port. The Pro models offer a titanium frame, Action Button, better optics and more.
As for more updates, several customers queued up at the Apple official stores in Mumbai and Delhi to get the new iPhones from the official retail outlets of the company. Both stores witnessed a sharp uptick in customer footfall because of the new product launches that include the new Watch Series 9, Watch Ultra 2 and USB-C AirPods Pro.
