iPhone 17 Air Leaks: The iPhone 17 series is undoubtedly the most anticipated smartphone launch for this year, and with every day that passes, the excitement for it grows faster. By now the rumour mill has been churning out many expected details of the said devices, like A19 chips, revamped design, camera upgrades and more. Now another recent rumour gives us a clue into what colourways we might get in the highly anticipated iPhone 17 Air.

A New Colour Palette

According to well-known tipster Majin Bu (@MajinBuOfficial), the iPhone 17 Air is set to arrive in black, silver, light gold, and a light blue colour that reportedly resembles the Sky Blue shade seen on the M4 MacBook Air. This fresh palette would stand in contrast to last year’s iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, which came in Black, Pink, White, Teal, and Ultramarine.

Mock-ups of the iPhone 17 Air in these new colours have also surfaced, with black and silver versions appearing quite similar to the current iPhone 16 series. Interestingly, earlier leaks had hinted at green and purple colourways for both the iPhone 17 and 17 Air, so the final selection might still be under wraps.

Ultra-Thin Design and Premium Specs

The iPhone 17 Air is rumoured to replace the 'Plus' variant in the lineup and could become Apple’s thinnest iPhone ever. If leaks are accurate, it will be just 5.5 mm thick and weigh around 145 grams, making it lighter and slimmer than anything Apple has released so far.

The device is expected to feature a 6.6-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 8GB of RAM, and a 48-megapixel single rear camera. On the front, users could get a 24-megapixel selfie camera—a notable upgrade from previous models.

Powering the device could be the A18 or A19 chip, and a 2,800 mAh battery is said to keep it running. While Apple hasn’t confirmed any of this, the rumour mill seems confident that the iPhone 17 Air will carry a premium price tag of around $1,299 (roughly ₹1,09,500).
