iPhone 17 series Expected price:  Now that Samsung is out with its flagship device the S25 Series, all eyes are on Apple now, and people are eagerly awaiting the launch of what will be the most anticipated smartphone debut of this year, the iPhone 17. Leaks and rumours have suggested that the device will be showcased in September 2025. This time the iPhone 17 is expected to drop with some significant new design enhancements, improvement in performance and last but not least camera upgrades. Let's take a look at what we have unearthed so far about the expected iPhone 17.

It is tradition for Apple to come out with its new series of smartphones in September, with a global launch likely to happen in the first half of the month and in India shortly after that. Pre-orders could start within the first week of its announcement if Apple sticks to its usual routine, and you can expect deliveries by the end of September.

The iPhone 17 series is almost here, and if you’ve been wondering about the prices and features, here’s what we’re expecting in India.

Expected Pricing

- The base iPhone 17 should start around Rs 79,900.

- The iPhone 17 Air, which might take the place of the Plus variant, is likely to be priced at about Rs 89,900.

- The iPhone 17 Pro could come in at Rs 1,20,000, while the high-end iPhone 17 Pro Max might cost around Rs 1,45,000.

Design: Thin and Premium

One of the most exciting things about this series is the design. The iPhone 17 Air is expected to be incredibly thin at just 5.5mm, which could make it one of the thinnest iPhones Apple has ever made. The whole series will probably feature a premium glass and aluminum build, giving it that sleek, premium look we’re all used to.

Display and Performance

The iPhone 17 Pro Max could come with a 6.9-inch OLED display, while the Pro version may have a 6.3-inch screen. The iPhone 17 Air is expected to sport a 6.6-inch display.

All models are likely to support a 120Hz refresh rate, so smooth scrolling and better graphics are pretty much guaranteed.

Inside, the standard iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Air will likely run on the A19 chip, while the Pro and Pro Max versions will probably be powered by the more advanced A19 Pro chipset. Expect 8GB of RAM for the standard models, and 12GB of RAM for the Pro versions.

Camera Upgrades

It is expected that Apple might drop some serious upgrades to the camera setup this time, although that is something we will only know after the devices are launched, but major upgrades are expected for the high-end iPhone 17 Pro Max. As far as we know the Apple devices could sport a 48MP triple-camera setup, including an ultra-wide lens, a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a primary sensor. Plus, all models are expected to come with a 24MP front camera good for crisp and clear images, catering to the selfie lover in you.
