Apple fans looking for a new device during the festive sales will have quite a few options this year. Amazon and Flipkart have started teasing deals on iPhones, MacBooks and iPads ahead of their biggest sale events, with some of the advertised prices sitting well below Apple's current prices in India.
The timing is worth noting because Apple has recently increased prices across its portfolio. The iPhone 17, for example, now costs Rs. 99,900 in India. Flipkart is expected to bring that price down to Rs. 79,900 during Big Billion Days.
The iPhone 16 and iPhone 15 will also be available at lower prices. It is expected that Amazon will slash the iPhone 16 prices to Rs. 71,999; Flipkart, on the other hand will list the iPhone 15 at Rs. 63,999.
These sale prices include the benefits announced for the respective sales, such as bank discounts, cashback and exchange offers. They should therefore not be treated as straightforward reductions from Apple's listed prices.
iPhone 17 Could See One Of The Biggest Price Drops
The iPhone 17 stands out among the upcoming offers because of the gap between its current price and the expected festive-sale price.
Apple raised the phone's price to Rs. 99,900, which is Rs. 17,000 higher than what it cost when it launched in September 2025. Flipkart's expected Rs. 79,900 price would put it considerably closer to its original launch pricing.
Amazon's iPhone 16 deal is expected to bring the phone to Rs. 71,999, compared with its current listed price of Rs. 89,900. Flipkart's iPhone 15 deal is slightly cheaper at Rs. 63,999, against a listed price of Rs. 74,900.
For buyers who don't necessarily need Apple's newest generation, the older iPhone models could therefore be worth considering once the sales go live.
MacBook And iPad Prices Also Get Festive Discounts
There are some MacBook deals to look out for as well. Amazon will offer the MacBook Neo for Rs. 75,990. The laptop is currently listed at Rs. 79,900, although it too has gone through a recent price increase.
The MacBook Air with Apple's M5 processor is getting a much larger reduction on Flipkart. The 16-inch model is expected to be available for Rs. 1,24,990, compared with its listed price of Rs. 1,49,900.
The iPad range has not been left out. An 11-inch iPad with the A16 chip will be offered for Rs. 39,990, down from Rs. 48,900. The iPad Air with the M4 processor is expected to cost Rs. 85,490 instead of Rs. 89,900.
The prices mentioned for the two iPad models do not include the additional bank discounts.
Amazon And Flipkart Sale Dates, Bank Offers
Amazon will begin its Great Indian Festival Sale 2026 on October 8, while Flipkart's Big Billion Days Sale 2026 is slated to begin on October 9.
Amazon customers using eligible SBI debit or credit cards can get an instant 10 per cent discount. The offer also applies to eligible credit card EMI transactions.
Flipkart is offering a 10 percent instant discount for eligible payments made using Axis Bank and ICICI Bank credit cards.
There can be additional savings through cashback or exchange offers depending on the device and the terms of the sale. That means the amount paid at checkout could be lower than the advertised festive price for eligible customers.
For Apple buyers, the timing of these offers is particularly interesting. With the company's recent price revisions pushing up the regular prices of several products, the upcoming Amazon and Flipkart deals could offer a way to get some of them at considerably lower prices.
