Clicks Creator Keyboard: Long before Apple introduced full touch screen displays on smartphones, it was the era of keypad phones. These devices were essential to communicate via calls and messages and offered a physical keyboard to interact with the display and perform daily operations. Case maker Clicks aims to replicate that with its new iPhone case, which comes with a physical keyboard.
Available on the Clicks website, the case carries a starting price of Rs $139 (roughly Rs 11,600) for the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro. The same attachment for the iPhone 15 Pro Max will cost $159 (about Rs 13,300). While the case for iPhone 14 Pro will ship from February 1, iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max attachments will start shipping in March and early spring (if users reserve them now).
These are available in two colour options: BumbleBee and London Sky. The case offers access to iOS shortcuts (via the CMD key) and voice inputs using the physical buttons. It also gets a backlight for a seamless typing experience in low light. The accessory can connect via a Lightning port (iPhone 14 Pro) or a USB Type-C port (iPhone 15 Pro series) and allows wireless charging.

It weighs under 65g and is constructed from Liquid Silicon and Polycarbonate. The back has a Vegan leather finish. The keyboard domes are covered with "Plated Nickle". While it might serve a specific set of iPhone users across the globe, this will increase the length of the smartphone's footprint. However, apart from the physical feeling of tapping the keys, the case will also clean up the screen estate otherwise occupied by the virtual keyboard.
The case draws power directly from the iPhone to function and supports "Pass through charging". According to The Verge, a soon-to-be-launched companion app will introduce enhanced functionality for the case in the future. First buyers will receive the "Founders Editions" of the accessory. The case maker will showcase their iPhone accessory at the Consumer Electronics Show 2024.
