APPLE'S upcoming iPhone 15 series regularly make headlines for new leaks. Rumours and feature reveal about the series continue to arrive at lightning speeds. However, the latest one is not that cheerful, as it hints that the smartphone manufacturer might skip the highly anticipated solid-state buttons.
Famous Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, in his blog, shared that his latest survey hints that due to "unresolved technical issues" in the pre-production stages, the Pro models might come with regular buttons rather than their solid-state counterparts.

"Two iPhone 15 Pro models' removal of solid-state button design negatively affects Cirrus Logic and AAC," Kuo shared in his tweet. Cirrus Logic and AAC Technologies are among the suppliers for the concerned components involved in the equipment. Following Kuo's comments, shares of Cirrus Logic dropped about 12 per cent. Earlier, investors anticipated the new buttons would improve "suppliers' revenue and profits." With the news, this does not seem to happen.
Further, the 15 Pro is in EVT (Engineer Validation and Testing) stage, Kuo states. This implies there is still room for modifications. Omitting the new buttons will "simplify the development and testing and process," he adds. The change will have a minor effect on the production agenda.
In the past, tips and rumours were enthusiastic about the debut of solid-state buttons on the Pro and Pro Max. Reports suggested the power, volume and mute switch could be replaced by solid-state buttons. But, as of now, the reality is - this won't happen.
Speaking of other updates, Daniel Ives, Wedbush Securities analyst, stated demand for iPhone has soared (especially in China) in Q2. The moment was described as "music to the ears of investors" in the report.
Coming to other iPhone 15 leaks, the iPhone 15 series will likely debut in September. The phones could sport a USB Type-C port for charging this time. All phones could come with a Dynamic Island reports hint. The camera sensors are likely to get an upgrade, possibly with the top-end variant getting a periscope lens.
