iQOO 12 5G, the highly anticipated flagship smartphone has officially made its debut in the Indian market. With the announcement, the iQOO 12 5G became the first smartphone with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset in India. Not only the performance part, the iQOO 12 got a variety of enhancements over the iQOO 11. Here’s everything you need to know about the flagship smartphone.
iQOO 12 5G Specifications:
iQOO’s new flagship gets a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED 1.5K screen with a refresh rate panel of 144 Hz. The iQOO 12 gets a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. For enhanced display performance, the smartphone also gets HDR10+ support. Under the hood, the iQOO 12 get a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor along with iQOO’s own Q1 supercomputing chip and Adreno 750 GPU for better gaming performance and comes paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512 GB UFS 4.0 storage.
The iQOO 12 5G runs on the Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14. The company has promised 3 years of Android upgrades and 5 years of security patches. In terms of battery capacity, the company has offered a 5000mAh battery with a fast charging support of 120W. It also gets 50W wireless charging capability and 10W reverse wireless charging. It also gets a wet touch algorithm.
Speaking of the optics, the iQOO 12 5G gets a 50 MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation support, a 50 MP ultra-wide camera lens and a 64 MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom for better photography. For selfies, it houses a 16 MP front camera.
iQOO 12 5G Price:
iQOO 12 5G is priced at Rs 52,999 for the base trim with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The top end variant is priced at Rs 57,999. HDFC and ICICI bank card users can avail Rs 3,000 discount on the smartphone. Company is also offering loyalty bonus of Rs 2,000 and exchange bonus of Rs 3,000. Every customer will get 6 month extended warranty. It will be available for sale starting from December 13 for priority pass holders. It will be on public sale from December 14.
