Poco F7 Launch: Poco is getting ready to roll out its next big release — the Poco F7 — and if the early buzz is anything to go by, this could be one of the brand’s most powerful flagships yet. While the official launch date remains under wraps, Flipkart has quietly revealed a major detail: this phone is going to pack one of the biggest batteries we’ve ever seen in an Indian smartphone.

According to a promotional page briefly visible on Flipkart, the Poco F7 will come equipped with a massive 7,550mAh battery. If accurate, that puts it ahead of the iQOO Z10 and Vivo T4, both of which sport 7,300mAh cells. Of course, unless another company swoops in first, the Poco F7 is poised to set a new benchmark in battery capacity.

But the focus isn’t just on size. Poco is using Si/C battery tech in the F7, which, according to the listing, can deliver around 2.18 days of battery life with moderate use. On the charging front, things look just as promising. The phone is expected to support 90W fast wired charging, letting users juice up quickly despite the battery’s massive size. There's also 22.5W reverse charging support, turning the phone into a portable power bank for other devices — a handy feature for users on the move.

A First Look at the Poco F7 Design

While Poco hasn’t officially unveiled the phone’s design, leaked renders from Android Treasure offer a sneak peek. The F7 is shown in a sleek black finish with a camera module that closely matches previous leaks — a dual-lens setup separated by green diagonal lines and a third raised design element. Another variant showcases a dual-tone finish with a unique design flourish near the camera island, suggesting Poco might offer multiple styles at launch.

What Else Is Expected?

Aside from the battery and design, specs are still largely under wraps. However, benchmark listings have shed some light. The Poco F7 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, paired with at least 12GB of RAM. There may also be more configurations available once the phone launches.

Rumours suggest the F7 could be a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, which recently launched with similar specs. If that’s the case, we can expect a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 1.5K resolution. Storage could go up to 1TB, with RAM possibly topping out at 16GB.

In terms of durability, the device may carry an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Camera fans can expect a triple-lens setup on the back, featuring a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 20MP selfie camera up front.

Launch Timeline

While Poco hasn’t confirmed the date yet, the launch is expected to happen later this month. And if all the early details prove true, the Poco F7 might just become one of 2025’s most talked-about — and long-lasting — smartphones.
