Jagran New Media, the digital arm of Jagran Prakashan Ltd, hosted its sixth edition of the 'Jagran Hitech Awards 2024' on December 13, 2024 at Hotel Pullman, Aerocity New Delhi. With resounding success, the event brought together the country's top automobile and technology influencers, stakeholders, enthusiasts, and industry leaders to revolutionize and honor the automobile and technology sector.

Hosted by Jagran, the sixth edition of the awards aimed to celebrate the convergence of connectivity and mobility, highlighting the excellence that defined the year 2024 in automotive and technological innovations.

The Jagran Hitech Awards 2024 celebrated outstanding contributions across more than 50 categories, honoring the best innovations and achievements in technology and automobiles. Among the notable winners were the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, crowned as the “2024 Phone of the Year,” and the Mahindra Thar Roxx, recognized as the “2024 Car of the Year.” Other key accolades included the BMW R 1300 GS, as the “2024 Premium Bike of the Year,” and the Vivo X100 Pro, awarded “2024 Camera Phone of the Year.” The Manufacturer of the Year (4-Wheeler) award went to Hyundai India, while the Game-Changer of the Year (2-Wheeler) title was secured by Hero Mavrick 440. The 2024 Auto-Tech Personality of the Year awards celebrate visionary leaders shaping the industry including Aditya Babbar, VP, MX Division, Samsung India as the 2024 Tech Personality of the Year; Santosh Iyer, MD & CEO, Mercedes-Benz India, as the 2024 Automotive Leader of the Year; and Petr Janeba, Brand Director, Škoda India, honored as 2024 Global Auto Personality of the Year.

The awards also highlighted impactful contributions to social responsibility and innovation, with the Bhashini Mission winning the Technology for Social Impact-Editor’s Choice award and Arista Vault being recognized for its pioneering work with the Innovative Lifestyle Tech Solution of the Year under the Editor’s Choice award.

The prestigious awards brought together a panel of over 10 distinguished members from the auto-tech jury, showcasing a diverse range of expertise in technology and automobiles. Partnered by LIC and MediaTek, with support from Rocketship Films, the event celebrated excellence across more than 50 categories in technology and automobiles, honoring innovation and achievement in both industries.
