Jio AirFiber: Introduced in September 2023, Jio AirFiber is the company's Wi-Fi and entertainment service to rival Airtel's Xstream AirFiber in India. In the latest move to serve users who often run out of data, the telecom service provider has introduced two new add-on plans. These new Rs 101 and Rs 251 are data booster packs that can complement the base plan of users who exhaust their data limits.

Rs 101 Pack (+GST)

This data booster plan ships with 100GB of additional data for users on top of their existing limit at the speed same as the base plan of AirFiber. You can use this data once you exhaust the limit of your base plan.

Rs 251 Plan (+GST)

This add-on plan offers 500GB of data that can supplement the base recharge pack of AirFiber. The speed in the plan remains unaffected and is the same as your main pack. However, do note that none of these plans ship with calling services.

The expiry of these plans is coterminous with the validity of your base pack. For instance, if you recharge the plan before your next billing date, the plan will expire once the billing date passes.

On a related note, Jio recently introduced a Rs 401 data booster plan for subscribers of its AirFiber service. It ships with 1,000GB of data over and above the base pack. The speed in this booster plan is also the same as your base plan. You can use the Jio website or MyJio app to recharge your AirFiber with these plans in case of a data crunch.
