Jio Mobile Recharge Plan: Reliance Jio has quietly pulled the plug on the free JioCinema access that used to come with its recharge plans. Instead, the company has introduced a new ₹100 data-only plan that includes a 90-day Jio Hotstar subscription along with 5GB of data.

This plan, now listed on Jio’s website, is valid for 90 days and is a solid deal for those who want to watch web series, movies, and live sports—including IPL 2025—on both smartphones and smart TVs in full HD (1080p). This is a step up from the usual ₹149 Jio Hotstar mobile plan, which only works on phones. Plus, considering that the standalone Jio Hotstar Super plan costs ₹299, this ₹100 recharge is a budget-friendly option for those who don’t already have a subscription.

That said, this pack doesn’t include calling or SMS benefits, so you’ll need an active base plan to use it. If you’re looking for more data, Jio also offers a ₹195 cricket data pack, which gives you 15GB of 4G/5G data and a 90-day Jio Hotstar Mobile subscription—but that one only works on mobile devices, not TVs.

With IPL 2025 right around the corner and Jio Hotstar being the only platform streaming it, this new plan is likely to be a hit among cricket fans looking for an affordable way to catch all the action.
