Indian handset manufacturer Lava has started teasing its upcoming flagship, the Lava Agni 4, landing in November 2025. Although the company hasn’t officially made a date for launch known, the teaser on its official website has just given us our first look at the upcoming model – along with some significant visual changes that claim to set this apart from last year’s Agni 3.

No Rear Secondary Display This Time

Highlights of the Agni 3, released in October 2024, included a second 1.74-inch AMOLED display on its back. Lava has now said that the Agni 4 won't get this feature and it will have a different design focus. The teaser photo also shows a revised rear camera layout for the new handset, meaning there could be an improved or just freshened-up camera system.

Specifications: Still Under Wraps

Lava has not revealed any specifications of the Agni 4 yet. But because this is the brand we are talking about, it could be anticipated that there would be quick teasers and a build-up of promotional activity as the month of November draws closer.

For context, the Lava Agni 3 was powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC and featured a 6.78-inch 120 Hz AMOLED display with an FHD+ resolution, the rear display, a customisable Action Key and IP64 dust and water resistance. Since it the Agni 4 has eliminated the rear screen, Lava can possibly work on improving the performance, camera and design aspects of their phones.

What to Expect

The Agni 4 won’t follow in its predecessor’s experimental dual-screen footsteps, but Lava is pinning it to be a new flagship contender for the end of 2025. The design alterations indicate that this time the brand could be settling for something a little more practical and mainstream-premium.

There should be more information about it, such as the release date, specifications and price in the following weeks.

Bottom Line

The Lava Agni 4 is officially set to debut in November 2025, bringing design changes and dropping the secondary rear display from the Agni 3. With teasers now rolling out, expect Lava to build hype in the coming weeks before its official launch.
