After the successful debut of the Lava Blaze Curve 5G, the Indian smartphone maker is all set to introduce the Lava O2 smartphone. The smartphone will be making its India debut on March 22 at 12 noon Indian Standard Time (IST). The company teased the smartphone on social media platform X revealing that the smartphone will get Unisoc T616 chipset. As per the company, the smartphone has a benchmark score of 280k+ points and will be the fastest phone in the segment.
The smartphone will be available on Amazon and the dedicated microsite revealing some key specs is already live. As per the listing, the Lava O2 will be available in the Majestic Purple and Green colours.

Under the hood, it will get its power from the UniSoC T616 SoC with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The smartphone will run on the Android 13-based skin out of the box.
In terms of specifications, the smartphone will get a 6.5-inch display with a refresh rate panel of 90 Hz and an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels. The smartphone will be backed by the 5000mAh Li-Po cell with an 18W USB type-C charging option. It will also get a 2x fast side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with face unlock for security.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone will get Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
In terms of optics, the smartphone may get a 50 MP AI dual camera setup with an 8MP front camera for selfies with a punch-hole cutout. However, the brand has not confirmed the exact details and price segment of the brand at the time of writing this article. We expect that the smartphone will debut with a price tag under Rs 10,000.
