AFTER Elon Musk headed Twitter, social media company Meta recently announced 'Meta Verification' globally. For those who are unaware, Meta has already begun to provide the Meta Verified service, which includes a blue badge. Now in a new update, the Meta Verification rates have been tipped.

According to the report, the Meta Verified with a blue badge, which costs $14.99 per month in the US, will cost roughly Rs 1,450/month on mobile devices and Rs 1,099/month if subscribed using a web browser.

The Meta Verified badge will now appear on Instagram and Facebook accounts. However, the Meta Verified is still in testing, and users can now sign up for a waitlist to acquire their Meta Verified.

Furthermore, the Meta Verified would come up with more features along with the blue check mark. According to the reports, features like proactive protection, direct customer support, increased reach, and exclusive extras would be added to the subscription. Unlike Twitter, Meta Verified is not available for businesses.

Furthermore, Meta Verified would be available only to Facebook and Instagram users who are 18 or older. The company has also revealed that users of both public and private profiles can have their accounts verified by paying a monthly fee. However, in order for their account to be validated, they must present any government ID with a matching name and photo.

To join the waiting list, go to about.meta.com/technologies/meta-verified and select either Facebook or Instagram, then log in. After the account is ready for verification, each user will receive an email.
