Microsoft has announced a partnership with the artificial intelligence (AI)-based music creation company named Suno and is now planning to bring the new feature to its popular AI-powered chatbot Copilot. With this collaboration, the company will allow users to create personalised songs with simple prompts.
To start making music, launch Microsoft Edge, go to copilot.microsoft.com, make sure you're logged in with your Microsoft Account, and either click the "Make music with Suno" logo or enable the Suno plugin.
Next, request that Copilot write a song for you, e.g., "Write a pop song about family adventures." The corporation has stated that this experience will intensify in the upcoming weeks, and it has already begun to roll out.
"Through this collaboration, individuals will be able to produce fun, smart, and personalised songs with a simple prompt, regardless of musical background," Microsoft said in a blog post on Tuesday.
"Leading the way in artificial intelligence (AI) music technology, Suno created the capacity to create entire songs—including vocals, instrumentals, and lyrics—from just one sentence," it added.
"We think that this collaboration will foster creativity and fun in new ways, enabling everyone to create music," Microsoft said.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has revealed that several new features, including the newest models from OpenAI, will soon be included in its Copilot service. The business announced that an improved DALL-E 3 model will be available soon, along with support for GPT-4 Turbo in Copilot.
Microsoft has also announced it has optimised the latest Windows 11 Store applications and has toned down the display priority of installed applications. It will help the platform to enhance the overall performance for Windows 11 users.
