AFTER Google, Microsoft, a US-based technology company has now officially announced that it would be integrating the AI-powered tool Microsoft 365 Copilot into its six services including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams just to help users complete their day-to-day tasks faster and more efficiently.

The tool, which is presently undergoing commercial testing, will be provided with a combined power of huge language models and business data that will help in enhancing the productivity, creativity, and abilities of the users, according to company executives in a video published by the company. This new service will effectively incorporate ChatGPT-like large language model features.

"Copilot blends the power of massive language models with your data and apps to convert your words into the most powerful productivity tool in the world," said Jared Spataro, Corporate Vice President at Microsoft.

Microsoft 365 Copilot would be helping the users in two ways:

1. Application Integration:

The company has announced that it would integrate Microsoft 365 Copilot in mass-used applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams. It would essentially be helping in drafting emails, articles, presentations, and more.

2. Chatbot Services:

Additionally, Microsoft has revealed that the Business Chat will integrate with other programs to enable users to perform previously impossible tasks. The tool will be using a human-like approach to answer questions.

Microsoft 365 Copilot: What’s New:

The all-new Copilot will allow Word users to write, edit and summarise the text they want to write. For PowerPoint users, it can turn ideas into design presentations by following the user's command. For Excel users, it can create a professional data visualisation, in just a fraction of second.

Additionally, the Business Chat would be bringing the data together from different sources in order to provide a summary to the users.
