Microsoft, which has recently introduced the AI-powered Bing for the public has now again increased AI-powered Bing Chat's turn limit to 30 chats per session and 300 chats per day. Bing AI has been one of the first search engines which have AI-powered capabilities.
"Good news, we've increased Bing Chat turn limits again to 30 per conversation and 300 per day," Jordi Ribas, Microsoft CVP of Search & AI, tweeted on Thursday. To improve the chatbot's usability, the tech giant has steadily upped its restriction over the last few months.
Windows Central claims that the corporation did not impose any restrictions on the utility when it was first introduced. This was short-lived, though, as a number of users started reporting occasions where the tool gave inaccurate answers or was just unpleasant.
This statement comes about a month after Microsoft made Bing Chat available for everyone to experience as an open preview. In order to enhance the user experience of the chatbot, Microsoft is probably going to lift this limit in the near future.
As it incorporates more GPT-driven features into its products, Microsoft included "AI-generated stories" for a select number of user searches on its Bing search engine in March. The business claims that Bing will enable users to create AI-generated tales that will give them a variety of ways to absorb "bite-sized information through text, images, video, and audio". Users may be familiar with these stories through social media sites like Instagram or Snapchat.
Meanwhile, Microsoft has been hinting at a new dark setting for the Windows 11 Paint program for a while now. In a new update, the company has started testing the dark theme, which was expected to arrive two years ago, in both the Canary and Dev channels. Similar to other Windows 11 applications, Paint will change to a dark theme based on the system theme. The dark mode can even be activated manually by users.
