MICROSOFT, a US-based technology giant which has been integrating generative artificial intelligence tools into almost all its platforms has now introduced a new tool to help cyber security professionals. The new tool will help them know about the data breaches, and threat signals and even later analyse data using the latest GPT 4 language model.
Microsoft Security Copilot, a new AI tool based on OpenAI developed GPT is a simple prompt box designed to help security experts with new features like summarising the incidents, analysing threats, and sharing information with co-workers on a pinboard.
The all-new tool will be using Microsoft's security-specific model which the company thinks is a growing set of security-specific skills that is fed with over 65 trillion signals every day.
On the landing page of the company, it has mentioned that now it would be much easier and faster to respond to threats using the insights and data from security tools that will be provided. Additionally, the company has tweaked artificial intelligence in the security model. The company has also shared a glimpse of AI performing questions into action. “Ask Security Copilot questions in natural language and receive actionable responses,” it wrote on its website.
Meanwhile, the company has introduced Dynamics 365 Copilot to help several businesses with tedious tasks. Further, the company announced that it could create marketing copy, ad emails, and much more in a more customised manner that too in a faster approach making the work of employees easier.
Microsoft has been leading in the integration of generative artificial intelligence to its platforms while other technology companies like Google are reportedly struggling. However, Google has also announced Bard and integrations to its Gmail and Doc service but no official dates have been announced for the public.
