MOTOROLA, a popular smartphone maker based in the United States, has announced yet another flagship phone Moto Edge 40 Pro in the global market with a new improved processor, stock user interface, segment-leading refresh rate, and the latest and fastest processor with fast charging support.

For those unfamiliar with the Moto lineup, the Moto Edge 40 Pro is the successor to the Moto Edge 30 Pro and the current generation flagship device.

Moto Edge 40 Pro Specifications:

The all-new Moto Edge 40 Pro gets a massive 6.67-inch OLED display with a refresh rate panel of 165 Hz and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. The smartphone also gets Dolby Vision support for better streaming.

Under the hood, the smartphone gets the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor with up to 12 GB RAM and up to 256 GB UFS 4 storage. The smartphone is backed by a 4600mAh battery with 125W fast charging support which can provide a battery backup for a day in just 20 minutes of charging. It also gets 5W of reverse charging. In terms of security, the smartphone gets an in-display fingerprint sensor, an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, and more. The smartphone will run on the Android 13-based UI.

In terms of optics, the smartphone gets a triple camera setup with a 50 MP primary shooter with optical stabilisation, paired with a 50MP ultrawide sensor and a 12MP telephoto lens.

Moto Edge 40 Pro Price:

The all-new Moto Edge 40 is launched in the global market at a price of EUR 899.99 which is around Rs 81,000 in India for the 12 GB and 256 GB variants. Motorola is expected to make an India debut of the phone in the upcoming months.
