MOTO EDGE 40 Launched In India: Motorola, a Lenovo-owned popular smartphone company has officially launched the Edge 40 series in the Indian market. The company this time has taken the competitive sub-30k market segment to introduce the mid-ranger with the world's first MediaTek Dimensity 8020 chip. Additionally, the smartphone gets 14 5G bands which means it is a good option in terms of connectivity as well.

Motorola Edge 40 Specifications

The mid-range Motorola Edge 40 gets a 6.55-inch FHD+ 8-bit pOLED display with a refresh rate panel of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits. The smartphone gets a 360Hz touch sampling rate. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by an octa-core Dimensity 8020 6nm processor which comes paired with Mali-G77 MC9 GPU. The smartphone gets 8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and would run on the Android 13-based skin out of the box. The smartphone is backed by a 4600mAh battery with a TurboPower fast charging support of 68W along with the option of 15W wireless charging, and 5W reverse charging.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone gets a 50MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation, Quad Pixel Technology. The secondary camera is 13 MP with a macro option and LED flash. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone has got a 32 MP front camera.

The phone comes with USB Type-C Audio, Stereo speakers, Dolby Atmos, 3 microphones, and IP58 certification. In terms of connectivity options, the smartphone gets 5G SA/NSA (n1/n2/n3/n5/n7/n8/n20/n28/n38/n40/n41/n66/n77/n78 bands), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, USB Type-C, NFC

Motorola Edge 40 Price In India

The all-new Motorola Edge 40 comes with a price tag of Rs 29,999 for the single 8GB + 256GB model. The smartphone would be up on sale from May 30 and will be available on Flipkart, and Motorola.in and offline stores.

The company has offered an extra Rs 2,000 off in exchange for No Cost EMI options and a one-time screen replacement if the consumer pre-orders the phone.
