Motorola has expanded its Edge 70 series lineup in India with the launch of the Motorola Edge 70 Pro+, which debuted on June 4. The smartphone joins the company's 2026 mid-range portfolio as the fourth model in the series and arrives shortly after the introduction of the Edge 70 Pro. Available in three Pantone-inspired finishes, the handset combines flagship-style features with a large battery, high-refresh-rate display and a versatile triple-camera setup.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Price In India And Availability

The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ is offered in a single 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant priced at Rs. 47,999. Buyers can avail an instant discount of Rs. 3,000 using eligible Axis Bank and ICICI Bank credit cards. Alternatively, Motorola is providing an exchange bonus of Rs. 3,000. Customers can also choose up to six months of no-cost EMI options.

The smartphone is currently available through Flipkart and the Motorola India online store. It comes in Pantone Chicory Coffee, Pantone Stormy Sea and Pantone Zinfandel colour options.

Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ Specifications And Features

The handset runs Android 16-based Hello UI out of the box and features a 6.8-inch 1.5K Extreme AMOLED display with a resolution of 1,272×2,772 pixels. The panel supports a refresh rate of up to 144Hz, HDR10+, 100 percent DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage and a peak brightness of up to 5,200 nits. Motorola has also included a 360Hz touch sampling rate and a pixel density of 450ppi.

Durability is another area of focus, with the phone carrying IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, along with MIL-810H certification.

Powering the device is MediaTek's Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor built on a 4nm process. The octa-core chipset runs at up to 3.4GHz and is paired with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. To keep temperatures under control during demanding tasks, Motorola has equipped the handset with a vapour chamber cooling system featuring a 4,600 sq mm heat dissipation area.

On the camera front, the Edge 70 Pro+ features a triple rear setup. It includes a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-710 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera that supports up to 3x optical zoom and 50x digital zoom, and a 50-megapixel ultrawide camera with a 112-degree field of view. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 50-megapixel front camera with autofocus support.

The smartphone packs a 6,500mAh battery and supports 90W wired fast charging as well as 15W wireless charging. Security features include an in-display fingerprint scanner and face unlock.

Motorola says the device measures 162.7×75.6×7.19mm and weighs around 190g, making it one of the slimmer phones in its category despite the large battery capacity.
