Motorola Razr 60 Ultra Launch: Motorola is gearing up to showcase its classic flip-style foldable smartphones, the Razr 60 Series, on the coming April 24. Key details about the smartphone have reportedly surfaced online, ahead of its launch. A report from 9to5Google states that marketing images of the smartphone have appeared on X (formerly Twitter), revealing key specs like the display size, battery capacity, and chipset.

Apart from the anticipated Raze 60 and Razr 60 Ultra, the smartphone maker is also expected to showcase new variants in the Edge series line-up, namely the Edge 60 and Edge 60 Pro. Another thing that might be on the table during the showcase is that Motorola has reportedly inked a deal with Perplexity to replace its default AI chatbot, which is Google's Gemini.

Expected specifications of the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra

As per the report, the Motorola Razr 60 Ultra is expected to feature a 7-inch pOLED display on the inside with 2992x1224p resolution and will be capable of providing a high refresh rate of 165Hz. Although the screen size and refresh rate are similar to last year's releases, there is an upgrade when it comes to the resolution of the display. It will also support Dolby Vision HDR.

The cover screen on the flip side might come with a resolution of 1272x1080p, like its previous variants, and the display will cover the whole screen when the device is folded.

A 50 MP primary shooter is expected in the camera department with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). Inside you can expect a punch-hole design camera with a 50 MP sensor.

Under the hood, the chipset is likely to be a Snapdragon 8 Elite, coupled with 16 GB RAM and 1TB storage. On the battery front, it is expected to carry a 4,700 mAh battery with 68W wired charging and support for wireless charging. With three generations of software upgrades, the Razr 60 Ultra is expected to come with Android 15-based Hello UI out of the box.

Official details of availability are not yet confirmed by the smartphone maker, but we can expect it to arrive soon on the Indian market after the showcase and global launch take place.
