MSI Claw Launched In India: Taiwanese laptop maker MSI has announced its highly-anticipated MSI Claw A1M in India. The gaming handheld debuted next to a range of AI-powered productivity, gaming and business-centric laptops at a showcase in New Delhi. MSI claims it is the "world's first handheld" to sport the latest Intel Core Ultra processors.

The product was first showcased at the Consumer Electronics Show 2024 and has finally reached India as a rival to the ASUS ROG Ally. If you plan to buy a premium gaming handheld in India, here are the specifications and variant-wise prices of the new Claw A1M.

MSI Claw Specs

Touted as the "world's first Meteor Lake-powered" handheld, the Claw gets a 7-inch FHD IPS touch screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate and 500nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the A1M boasts up to Intel Core Ultra 7 (155H) CPUs and Intel Arc graphics. The device runs on the latest Windows 11 operating system. As for memory, the Claw offers 16GB LPDDR5 RAM.

The handheld also sports Intel XeSS technology to enhance FPS in games and MSI Cooler Boost Hyperflow technology for thermal efficiency. It gets a 53Whr battery (six-cell) that MSI claims delivers a battery backup of two hours and supports up to 65W charging (and PD 3.0). Besides Windows games, the gaming device supports MSI APP Player to run Android games.

Moving to connectivity, the device ships with Intel Killer Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a headphone jack, one Thunderbolt 4 (Display Port and PD 3.0 USB Type-C charging), a microSD card reader and a fingerprint sensor integrated within the power button. For sound output, the device gets dual speakers (2W each). It weighs 675g and offers a six-axis IMU vibration motor.

MSI Claw Price In India

MSI Claw A1M gaming handheld will start from Rs 88,990 for the Intel Core Ultra 5 trim and steep at Rs 99,990 for the Ultra 7 variant. A mid-variant will also be available, which will cost Rs 96,990. It comes in a single black shade. The company has not disclosed the availability details of the A1M at the time of filing. But potential gamers can expect India availability in the coming weeks.
