XIAOMI, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer that has already announced the global release of its highly anticipated Xiaomi 13 Pro, has officially announced the arrival of Android 13-based MIUI 14 on February 27 at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2023) in Barcelona.
The smartphones like Xiaomi 12 Pro have already been upgraded to MIUI 14, but the Xiaomi 13 Pro would be the first device to ship with the new operating system with some country-specific tweaks including the new features.
Interestingly, the all-new MIUI 14 is already available in China with the Xiaomi 13 Pro with by far the best user experience and less bloatware. On the other hand, the new user skin gets some impressive features like four different app icon sizes, a simple toggle for silent mode, real-time subtitles during video calls, and more. However, it is expected that Xiaomi could provide more interesting animations and wallpapers with the upcoming MIUI14.

Interested users can watch the event live on the company’s India and global social media channels including YouTube. Some of the latest smartphones eligible for the Android 13-based MIUI 14 update include Poco X5 Pro 5G, Xiaomi 11i series (already receiving), and Redmi K50i.
Meanwhile, the company is already set to launch Xiaomi 13 Pro globally a day before MIUI 14 launch.
