Ahead of unveiling a series of devices like Nokia 5.2, Nokia 6.2 and Nokia 7.2 on September 5, HMD Global has made a drastic rate cut to its previous devices much to the advantage of customers. The company has made a sharp reduction in price on flagship smartphones Nokia 8.1 and 8110. These phones no longer feature on the official website of Nokia.
 
Nokia 8.1 was launched in December last year. Its base variant 4GB + 64 GB storage was priced at Rs 26,999. Now the prices have been reduced by Rs 11,000. It is currently priced at an all-time low of Rs 15,999.  Its higher-variant with 6GB is now available at Rs 22,999. 
 
The company has also reduced the price of Nokia 8110 smartphone. Its cheapest smartphone is available at Rs 2,999. 
 
 
The above handset is 6.18-inch smartphone with full HD+ display. It has a screen resolution of 1080*2244 and aspect ratio of 18.7:9. Screen to body ratio of the device is 81.5 per cent. This phone works on 2.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset processor. It is available in two storage variants. For photography, it has a dual rear camera, which has a 12-megapixel primary sensor, 13-megapixel secondary camera and depth sensor. There is a 20-megapixel front camera.
 
Nokia 8110 4G is a slider opening feature phone of the company. It has a 2.4-inch QVGA curved display. It has 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. This phone works on a dual-core 1.1 GHz Qualcomm 205 chipset. It has a 2-megapixel camera. For power backup, the phone has a 1500 mAh battery.
