Nothing Phone (2), which is set to make its global debut on July 11th, including India (according to the Flipkart listing), is likely to make a few adjustments to its distinctive design. The company recently posted a teaser indicating that the smartphone will have the same back panel as the transparent Nothing Phone 1.
Soon after the company shared the teaser, Twitter users started trolling the company and the phone for the same design after which Nothing CEO Carl Pei hinted that Nothing Phone (2) would be coming with some major upgrades.
Sharing a meme that showed it would be difficult to know if the user is using Nothing Phone (1) or Phone (2). He said, "To everyone sending me this: you just wait and see."
If the claims are correct, Carl Pei has already insulted other businesses that use the same design for their current phone revisions. For example, he mocked Samsung's flagship Galaxy S23 series by comparing it to earlier versions.
The Nothing Phone 2 will probably feature a new lighting setup but with the same semi-transparent appearance. According to rumours, the Nothing Phone (2) will have configurable lights for the Glyph interface, however, this is yet unknown as the firm has not revealed anything about it.
Nothing Phone (2) Specifications (Expected)
The upcoming Nothing Phone (2) is expected to come with a 6.7-inch display. Under the hood, the smartphone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset and is expected to be backed by a 4,700 mAh battery. The company till now have not confirmed the specifications as of now but will be a significant upgrade over the last generation Nothing Phone (1).
The Nothing Phone (2) will also be getting three years of Android updates as well as four years of security updates. Further, the company has promised that the latest Nothing OS upgrade will get a faster UI along with more features.
