Key Details And Specs Revealed And Expected So Far
Nothing has started revealing key details of the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) ahead of its official launch on July 1 at 18:00 BST (1PM ET / 10AM PT / 10:30PM IST). While the company has called it its “first true flagship”, the choice of processor has sparked some debate.
The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, a capable chip but not quite at the level of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or the newer 8 Gen 4 Elite, which many had expected for a premium-tier device. The decision likely comes down to cost, as the 8s Gen 4 is a more affordable option while still offering strong performance.
On the camera front, the standout feature will be a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens, which Nothing has confirmed. It will be placed apart from the other two cameras on the back, adding a distinct look. Rumours suggest the phone could feature three 50MP sensors, though only the periscope lens has been officially mentioned so far.
Additional leaked specs paint the picture of a solid flagship experience. The Phone (3) is expected to come with a 5,150 mAh battery, which is even larger than what you’d find in the Galaxy S25 Ultra. It will reportedly support 100W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, offering plenty of power and speed.
The display will be a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio, aligning with the sleek, minimal aesthetic. Nothing is known.
With a mix of premium features and a slightly more affordable chip, the Nothing Phone (3) seems designed to strike a balance between performance and price. We’ll know everything for sure once it’s officially unveiled.
