Nothing has confirmed that the Phone (3a) Lite will launch in India on Thursday, November 27. India continues to be one of the company’s strongest markets, and Nothing is expected to reveal bank offers, early-bird deals and first-sale dates as the launch gets closer. The new model aims to pull more users into the Nothing ecosystem by offering the brand’s trademark design and clean software at its most accessible price point yet.

A more affordable gateway into the Nothing ecosystem

The Phone (3a) Lite sits below the standard Phone (3a), targeting buyers who like Nothing’s transparent aesthetic but don’t want to stretch their budget. The company hasn’t disclosed pricing, but expectations place it well below the Phone (3a), making it the cheapest entry into the lineup so far.

Nothing says the goal is to “bring the distinctive Nothing experience to more users,” suggesting that the Lite model stays true to the brand’s visual identity while trimming features where necessary.

Same design DNA, with a simplified Glyph

Design remains the biggest draw. The Phone (3a) Lite keeps the transparent rear panel but opts for a single Glyph LED instead of the full lighting array. It also carries an IP54 rating for splash and dust resistance — enough for daily use, but not meant for rough handling.

Nothing Phone (3a) Lite Specifications

The Lite’s hardware stays focused on everyday performance, similar to the broader a-series strategy:

- 6.77-inch flexible AMOLED with FHD+ (1084×2392) resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate

- MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro, 4 nm

- 50MP main + 8MP ultra-wide + 2MP macro rear cameras

- 16MP front camera

- 5,000mAh battery, 33W charging

- Android 15-based Nothing OS 3.5

- 3 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches

Nothing’s choice of components makes it clear: this is a practical mid-range phone meant to feel smooth, look good and last long, without chasing flagship numbers.

India launch outlook

Nothing has built a strong fan base in India, and the local mid-range market is one of the most competitive in the world. The Phone (3a) Lite will go head-to-head with devices from Samsung, Xiaomi, Vivo, and OnePlus—all of which are pushing aggressively in the ₹15,000–₹22,000 band.

With the visual appeal of a more expensive device and a price tag positioned for mainstream buyers, Nothing is betting this model will help broaden its reach ahead of its 2026 lineup.
