OnePlus 12 5G: OnePlus has announced that the company will host an event on the 10th anniversary of the brand in its homeland. The December 4 event hints at a release of the OnePlus 12 5G. For the unversed, OnePlus dates back to December 2013, with Carl Pei and Pete Lau at the helm.

In the poster, the CEO of the Chinese smartphone maker is visible on a clock with an indirect focus on the '12' mark. This indicates that the company is teasing the upcoming OnePlus 12 flagship. OnePlus 12 5G Specifications (Expectations)

According to OnePlus, the smartphone may sport a 2K screen from BOE that may sport up to 2,600nits of peak brightness and a Display P1 chip. It could have a 6.8-inch panel with 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the OnePlus 12 could run on the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The handset will likely run Android 14-based custom skin.

The phone could offer a 5,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. As for the optics, the company has confirmed the device will debut with a Sony LYT-808 sensor and a 64MP OV64B telephoto sensor with 3X zoom capabilities. A 48MP ultrawide sensor is tipped in the rear camera array. For selfies, the company may offer a 32MP front camera. For security, the device could have an in-screen fingerprint reader.

OnePlus 12 5G India Release Expectations

Going by the earlier rumours, the company will likely introduce the OnePlus 12 5G in December in its homeland. An India debut could follow in February. Considering the upgrades, the smartphone could be priced more than its predecessor - the OnePlus 11 5G.
