OnePlus 12R, which will be the successor of the OnePlus 11R, is one of the highly anticipated smartphones that are going to launch next year. OnePlus is expected to introduce the smartphone along with the flagship OnePlus 12 in December in China. Not only that, the rumour mill has managed to get some of the key specifications and changes that may be a part of the OnePlus 12R.

OnePlus 12R Specifications (Expected):

The upcoming OnePlus 12R according to the tipster Yogesh Brar, will be getting a slew of changes. In his post on X, the tipster said that the smartphone is expected to get a 6.7-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate panel of 120 Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to get a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. The smartphone will run on the Android 14-based OxygenOS and is said to be backed by a 5,500mAh battery and 100W fast charging support. The smartphone will also get an Alert Slider as well.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone is expected to get a triple camera setup along with Hasselblad collaboration. It will get a 50 MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation, an 8 MP ultra-wide sensor and a 32 MP telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, the OnePlus 12R is said to get a 16 MP front camera.

However, the report suggests that the company would be making dramatic changes to the design and it will continue with the same design language as the OnePlus 11.

OnePlus 12R Launch Date: (Expected) 

According to the reports, the smartphone is said to make its India debut in January next year. The reports also suggest that the smartphone may debut on January 23. The company will launch the OnePlus 12 series in December in China which will be followed by an India launch.
