OnePlus 12 has already created a buzz in the Indian market following its Indian debut announcement, but tech enthusiasts are also anticipating the OnePlus 12R. The OnePlus 12R is a scaled-down version of the flagship smartphone that may offer some outstanding features at an affordable price. Here are some of the speculations that we came to know about the upcoming semi-flagship.

OnePlus 12R Specifications: (Expected)

The OnePlus 12R, which will sit below the OnePlus 12 is said to feature a 6.74 inch OLED screen with 1240 x 2772 pixels resolution and 1B colours with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Under the hood, the smartphone is said to feature last-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with the Adreno 740 GPU. It may come paired with up to 512 GB storage and up to 16 GB LPDDR5 RAM. The smartphone will run on Android 14-based OxygenOS 14 and may get two software updates as promised. The OnePlus 12R may be backed by a 5,500 mAh battery with 100W fast charging. It may also get 50W wireless charging and reverse charging options.

In terms of connectivity, it gets Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, dual-band along with Bluetooth 5.3, A2DP, LE, and aptX HD. In terms of prominent features, it may get a fingerprint (under display, optical), accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, and colour spectrum.

In terms of optics, the smartphone may get a triple camera setup including the 50 MP primary shooter with optical image stabilisation along with a 32 MP telephoto lens and an 8 MP ultrawide sensor. It will get a 4K recording option at 60 fps along with features like LED flash, HDR, and panorama.

OnePlus 12R Price: (Expected) 

The OnePlus 12R price may be Rs 45,000 for the base trim. However, the company has not confirmed anything and the fans must take it with a pinch of salt.
