OnePlus Nord 3 5G was launched in India recently alongside other products. And it seems the manufacturer is readying the new Nord for the upcoming Android 14. In the latest update, OnePlus, via its OnePlus Community note, said it will start testing OxygenOS 14 based on Android 14 in the 'Closed Beta' channel on OnePlus Nord 3.
According to the community post, the company is looking for Indian users of the Nord 3 who wish to experience the upcoming operating system. They will be expected to share feedback and suggestions to polish the experience before rollout. The company will invite "500 people" who meet the essentials to join closed beta. The Chinese phone maker added that users can win rewards if they perform exceptionally well.
OxygenOS 14 On OnePlus Nord 3: Things To Note Before Joining
- The process may sometimes require clean installation, which may lead to data loss. Hence, a user must keep a backup of personal files on a secondary device.
- The OS may be unstable and may come with "risks and issues" due to the under-testing character.
- Some third-party apps may not be compatible with Android 14.
OxygenOS 14 Beta Eligibility
A tester must be a OnePlus Nord 3 user, active on the OnePlus Community forum, and would have to communicate issues/bugs and suggestions with OnePlus through the 'Feedback APP'. A tester may have to join the Telegram group to interact with the OnePlus team and other participants. Lastly, a participant won't be allowed to share the CBT package outside the designated team.

How To Join OxygenOS 14 Beta?
A user will have to confirm the phone is updated to version 'CPH2491_13.1.0.561(EX01)'. To do this, head to settings, and move to the 'About device' tab. From here, tap on 'Up to date' followed by the icon on the top-right and follow the on-screen instructions. After the request is approved, the user will get the update within three business days. A user will be able to install the update from the settings.
Further, users can dial *#800# to submit feedback. Considering it is an under-testing beta build, the company highlighted a range of issues with the build that affects the lock screen, Google Contacts, the Camera app and more.
