Display And Design
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 features a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2.8K resolution of 2800 x 1980 pixels and a pixel density of 284ppi. It supports a 120Hz refresh rate and can reach a peak brightness of up to 900 nits.
OnePlus has opted for a 7:5 aspect ratio, which the company claims provides 14 percent more active screen area compared to traditional 16:10 displays. This makes the tablet better suited for reading, document work, split-screen multitasking, and productivity-focused use cases.
In terms of build, the tablet measures just 6.83mm in thickness and weighs under 600 grams, making it relatively slim and easy to carry despite its large screen size.
Performance And Software
Powering the OnePlus Pad Go 2 is the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra chipset, built on a 4nm process. The processor is paired with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
The tablet runs OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16. OnePlus says the Pad Go 2 is TÜV SÜD certified for 48 months of smooth performance, indicating long-term software optimisation and stability.
Stylus Support And Battery
The Pad Go 2 is the first budget tablet from OnePlus to support a stylus. The OnePlus Pad Go 2 Stylo is sold separately and is claimed to offer up to 20 hours of battery life.
The tablet packs a large 10,050mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast charging. A 45W charger is included in the box. It also supports 6.5W reverse charging, allowing users to charge smartphones or accessories in emergency situations.
Connectivity And 5G Support
The OnePlus Pad Go 2 marks the company’s first tablet with a 5G variant. The cellular model supports SIM-based calling and messaging. It also offers deeper integration with other OnePlus devices, including phone screen mirroring, clipboard sync, and mobile data sharing.
