CHINESE smartphone maker Poco has launched its Poco C51 in India. It is an entry-level handset priced below Rs. 10,000. The handset comes with Android 13 and packs a massive 5000mAh battery. It is priced at Rs. 8,499 on Flipkart.

Poco C51 Specifications

The C51 comes with a 6.52 inch HD+ display with a resolution of 1600 x 720. It has a peak brightness of 400 nits and a touch sampling rate of 120 Hz. The phone weighs 192g and is 9.09mm thick. For multimedia consumption, it comes with a top-firing speaker.

Under the hood, the phone packs in an octa-core MediaTek Helio G36 CPU with a clock speed of up to 2.2GHz. It comes in a single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option, which is expandable up to 1TB via the microSD card slot. A user can add an extra 3GB of RAM via the RAM expansion feature.

Coming to the software, the phone runs on Android 13(Go Edition) out of the box. It comes with MIUI dialer, and the brand promises two years of security updates. The C51 packs in a 5000mAh battery pack which supports 10W charging.

Speaking to optics, the C51 comes with an 8MP primary sensor on the back and a 5MP selfie shooter. Features in the camera UI include HDR, Portrait, Short Video, Timelapse, and Tilt-Shift Modes. Both cameras can record at 1080p (at 30fps).

The 4G VOLTE handset comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a Micro USB port for charging. For security, it packs in a fingerprint sensor on the back. It comes with a standard one-year warranty for the phone.

Currently, the phone is listed for Rs. 8,499 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The first sale will go live on April 10, 12 PM on Flipkart. You can buy it for Rs. 7,799 after applying offers during the sale.

It is available in two colours - Royal Blue and Power Black.
