POCO is gearing up for one of its biggest global launches yet. The company has officially confirmed that the POCO F8 Pro and POCO F8 Ultra—international versions of the Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max—will make their global debut on 27 November 2025. What further cements the timeline is that Xiaomi has already finalised the HyperOS 3 builds based on Android 16 for both models. Alongside this, a fresh teaser poster has been released, marking the arrival of a new era for the F-Series on the global stage.

A Closer Look at the Hardware
Both the F8 Pro and F8 Ultra stay true to the design language and hardware layout of their Chinese counterparts. The highlight, however, is what sits at the heart of these phones: the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform. This will be the first time POCO brings this top-tier chipset to global markets, promising stronger efficiency, steadier sustained performance, and better on-device AI capabilities.
The F8 Ultra gets an additional premium touch with SOUND BY BOSE, a feature carried directly from the Redmi K90 Pro Max. This addition is aimed at pushing audio clarity and richness to a level that’s rare in POCO’s typical performance-focused catalogue.
What Users Can Expect
The F8 series is being positioned to reshape the premium mid-range category. With the Snapdragon 8 Elite powering the experience, paired with 100W fast charging, both phones are expected to deliver fast, fluid performance across gaming, multitasking, and heavy daily use. Xiaomi’s refinements in thermal management, software responsiveness, and build quality suggest that the F8 lineup is meant to feel more polished and balanced than earlier generations.

Final Thoughts
With HyperOS 3 and Android 16 out of the box, high-end silicon, premium audio engineering, and aggressive performance tuning, the POCO F8 Pro and F8 Ultra are shaping up to be strong global contenders. Their arrival on 27 November 2025 is likely to draw attention from users who want flagship-level capabilities without drifting into ultra-premium pricing.
