POCO Pad 5G: POCO, a Chinese smartphone maker, has unveiled the POCO Pad 5G in India. The launch comes after the company initially teased the release on Flipkart. The device runs on a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with Xiaomi HyperOS out of the box. It sports a massive 10,000mAh battery and a 120Hz display. POCO Pad 5G Specifications
The tablet offers a 12.1-inch 2.5K screen with a 120Hz refresh rate with Corning Gorilla Glass and 600nits peak brightness. It has a thickness of 7.52mm and weighs 568g. As for multimedia consumption, it gets quad speakers with Dolby Atmos and Vision support. Under the hood, the tablet runs on a 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

POCO Pad houses a 10,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging. As for connectivity, the IP52-rated POCO Pad gets Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a 3.5mm headphone jack and a microSD card slot (expandable up to 1.5TB). It runs on Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS with interconnectivity features like Home Screen+, cross-device notes app, Shared Clipboard and Network Sync. It offers an 8MP rear and 8MP selfie shooter.
POCO Pad Price In India
The POCO Pad will be available in two storage variants: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB, which will cost Rs 19,999 and Rs 21,999 (inclusive of Rs 3,000 bank cashback via SBI, HDFC and ICICI bank cards) during the first day of sale. POCO has also advertised a Rs 1,000 discount for students. However, the terms and conditions of the offer remain unknown.
The offering will be available in Cobalt Blue and Pistachio Green. POCO Pad 5G will ship with a one-year Times Prime membership for the first 1,500 buyers and a six-month subscription for MS Office 365 as a bundle offer at Rs 1. The first sale of the tablet will begin on August 27 on Flipkart.
