POCO Pad Leaks: POCO, a Chinese smartphone maker, is all set to launch the POCO Pad 5G in India on Flipkart. The tablet will be announced in the country on August 23, 12:00 PM. It is confirmed to sport a 12.1-inch 12-bit display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 600nits brightness in High Brightness Mode (HBM). It will offer Dolby Vision + Atmos suite and a quad-speaker setup. A headphone jack and dual microphones are confirmed for the device.
For context, the POCO Pad has already launched in the global market. Hence, we can speculate on the specifications and expected price of the Indian variant tablet.

POCO Pad 5G could sport an octa-core 4nm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. The IPS LCD screen could have a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and sport Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It might have a thickness of 7.52mm and could weigh 571g. The big screen may run on Xiaomi HyperOS based on the latest Android 14.

POCO Pad may get a 10,000mAh battery with 33W charging support. As for the optics, the tablet may boast an 8MP rear and 8MP front camera. Coming to connectivity, the POCO Pad may offer Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, a headphone jack, a microSD card slot (for storage expansion up to 1.5TB) and a USB Type-C port. Based on these specifications, we can anticipate it to be closely similar to the Redmi Pad Pro.
POCO Pad 5G Price In India (Expected)
According to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the Chinese brand could slot the tablet in the sub-Rs 25,000 price range in India. Media reports speculate a price range between Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000. Meanwhile, it will be available for purchase on Flipkart after launch. Based on the image shared on the microsite, we can expect a smart pen and keyboard accessory to tag along. However, these will likely be sold separately.
